SPR# GHAT857JF7 - Prior to this fix, upgrade from 7.x to 8.5.x was not adding InstallMode=1 to the user's personal notes.ini. This variable not being set can cause Smart Upgrade to not work correctly. Now in 8.5.3 this variable is checked and set correctly on first client startup after upgrade. Workaround prior to 8.5.3 is to set InstallMode=1 either manually or via policy after upgrade.
